- From the ready position, advance your right foot and leg forward to
- Both hands and arms form an X block in front of your nose • Strike both inner wrists of your opponent arms near the thumbs, forcing his arms downward and backward.
- Next back step with your left foot in front of your opponent’s left foot.
- The right hand and wrist forms a “preying mantis hand” grabbing behind the opponent’s neck.
- At the same time with your left hand, press your middle finger under the angle of the jaw toward the foramen magnum (this is the opening in which the spinal cord passes through to the cranial cavity connecting to the brain). This pressure will make your opponent raise his/her center of gravity by tip toeing on the balls of their feet. There by making it easier to unbalance and maneuver your opponent.
- Pull the opponent down counter clockwise (right to left) by transferring your body weight through your right arm into opponent’s neck his head him causing his head to land between your legs on the mat.
- Without losing contact, your left hand then slides to the further point on his chin while at the same time your right hand slide to opponent’s right shoulder.
- Transfer your body weight through your arms and hand pressing opponent’s chin and shoulder to the floor to immobile him, then kneel on his clavicle with your left knee.
 - From the Ready position advance your right foot.
- At the same time strike the inside of opponent right arm just above the wrist (b) simultaneously grabbing his left wrist and hand with your right hand.
- Step with your left foot so that it ends up close to your right foot, this will make you taller than if you spread your feet wide than those of your opponent which would bring your pelvic closer to the floor making you shorter than your opponent.
- At the same time circle your left arm and hand around the back of your opponent. Place the tip of your third (middle) finger between the muscle of the neck and shoulder.
- Execute a hip throw throwing your opponent to the mat.
- After your opponent is on the mat execute an arm bar on his left arm.
